Displayed above are two posters for the band Stereo Total. If you haven't heard this eclectic duo, check them out. New wave-garage-electronica-punk-pop. They are a lot of things all at once. Which makes sense for two graphic artists to use the same generic image on the poster (the band's logo does not include headphones), allowing their design style to define the band. 


I argue that Germany's got it right. Stereo Total is much too crazy to be so minimal and graphic, like the image from the United States. Stereo Total originated in Germany, so it is quite appropriate to go straight to the source.
